We have a range of items to buy on behalf of the Royal British Legion for Remembrance Sunday.

 

 

Zip Pull, Reflector, Silicon Wristbands are £1, the Snap bands are £1.50

Poppies will also be available for a donation of your choice.

Children in Need – Pudsey Bear Raffle/Items to buy

Raffle Tickets will be taken around the classrooms from 6 November 2023, for the children to buy – £1 per strip.  The raffle will be drawn on Friday 17 November 2023.

 

The Items below will also be available to buy from 6 November 2023.    £1 each. There is a limited supply so these will be sold on a first come first served basis.

2-3 Year Old Flu Vaccine Sessions

If you would like your child to have the flu vaccine, you can visit anyone of the clinics below or make an appointment.

Dates & Locations of Clinics: Each session will run from 3:30pm – 5:30pm,

  • Hebburn Family Hub – 9th October & 6th November
  • Marine Park Family Hub – 10th October & 9th November
  • Horsley Hill Family Hub – 16th October & 13th November
  • Riverside Family Hub – 23rd October & 14th November
  • Bede Family Hub – 24th October & 20th November
  • Boldon Family Hub – 27th October & 21st November

You can book directly with Health Visitors by telephoning 0191 2823677.

Alternatively, you do also have the option of popping into sessions.

Go North East Strike Action 30 September – 6 October

Please see below a message from Go North East Services:

 

It has been confirmed this morning by Go North East that the proposed strike action between Saturday 30 September – Friday 6 October inclusive. A further strike may take place between Saturday 14 October 2023 and Friday 20 October 2023

While dedicated scholars’ buses normally operated by Go North East will operate as normal during the strikes as they have been prioritised, please be aware that these services are likely to be extremely busy and there is no available resource available to increase capacity on these routes.

For children, parents and staff that normally travel on local Go North East services to and from school, there will be no skeleton services in operation.

For holders of Go North East Season tickets (weekly, monthly, annual passes) please note these will be accepted on Tyne & Wear Metro services during the strike periods, please show staff your pass to travel.

Where people can, we advise them to make alternative arrangements.
