If you are thinking of enrolling your child/children with providers of extra-curricular activities, e.g. sport, drama and dance clubs. We would encourage you to ask questions about the existence of safeguarding measures and policies and not assume that they are in place already. If your child/children already attend such clubs it may be worth making checks too.
We would encourage you to ask important questions regarding safeguarding when you are considering leaving your children in the care of these providers.
