Pratishtha has just joined our school and has learnt lots of new songs and the actions. She is so enthusiastic and we are so proud of her. We are so pleased you have joined us. Keep it up!
Our staff have worked closely with the Catering Services to make a bespoke EYFS school menu. We are promoting more new foods, especially vegetables to our children and they are loving it! We can earn stickers and certificates for trying new vegetables and cutting our food independently. Please ask staff if you would like any more information.
We had a great time joining in with Children in Need activities. We all made Pudsey ears, decorated Gingerbread men and raised lots of money for charity!
In maths we created an assault course using some of our physical skills equipment. We took turns to race the course to see who was the fastest. We also counted the time using claps and a scoreboard to log the speeds. Some of us were also commended on our teamwork and sportsmanship.
We had a fantastic time making hedgehog hotels for part of our learning about hedgehogs and hibernating animals. Some of us placed our hotels around school and some took them home for our gardens. We can’t wait to see if we have hibernating hedgehogs soon.
Davi received a golden moment for working really hard ordering numbers 0-10 independently. Keep it up Davi we are really proud of you!
We are practising our mouse control skills using the ‘click and drag’ skill. Roman has made a fantastic picture of a ‘Shabbat’ meal table after learning about how Shabbat is special for Jewish people.
Alisha has made a picture of Burglar Bill which we are using as our focus story. I love how she has tried to add the black and white stripes on his top.

We have had a wonderful time learning about Remembrance and Poppies. We’ve learnt about Sir John Kirkpatrick and Mrs Gibson’s Uncle Tommy. We know Sunday is a very important day for everyone. We have all made paper poppies for our Armistice day assembly on Monday.

Walk to the West Park
Our morning and afternoon nursery children walked to the West Park. They learned facts about autumn and collected colourful leaves and conkers.
